Joel Deis

Joel Deis is a First Vice President and Regional Manager of Marcus & Millichap’s (NYSE: MMI) Seattle and Portland offices. He joined the firm in 2006 focusing on the sale of office properties in Puget Sound. In 2007 he co-founded a team specializing in self storage assets on the West Coast.

From 2012-2013 Mr. Deis served as Sales Manager of the Seattle Office with additional duties in the Las Vegas and Portland offices. In 2013 he was appointed to his current role of Regional Manager. From 2017-2019 he was the National Director of the firm’s Self Storage Division, the #1 self storage practice group in the United States.

He began his commercial real estate career with a Seattle-based family office where he provided property management, asset management, and office leasing services. From 2004-2005 Mr. Deis was with a brokerage firm in downtown San Francisco focused on tenant representation of office occupiers.

Joel graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Washington. Mr. Deis played football for the University of Washington from 1998 to 2001 and was a member of the 2001 Rose Bowl championship team.
