Marcus & Millichap History
The Vision That Shaped Marcus & Millichap
Marcus & Millichap began with a bold vision: to revolutionize the commercial real estate brokerage industry by putting clients first and driving value through specialization and collaboration. Founders George M. Marcus and William A. Millichap established a new approach to real estate advisory services that continues to define our success today.
Their commitment to a client-focused, forward-thinking model laid the groundwork for the firm’s growth and long-standing leadership in the industry. Our defining moments reflect a dedication to innovation and an unwavering focus on clients.
Today, our leadership team remains guided by that same founding vision, continually evolving the business while staying true to the principles that launched Marcus & Millichap. It’s a legacy of leadership, built on trust, performance, and a relentless drive to stay ahead.
