Marcus & Millichap Facilitates Sale of Brand-New Sherwin-Williams Location in Texas

HASLET, Texas, Nov. 6, 2024 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a net-leased Sherwin-Williams location in Haslet, Texas in the Dallas/Fort Worth MSA.
“The seller is an esteemed development group and a long-time client of ours,” said Mark Ruble, executive managing director investments. “The buyer is using the property to satisfy his 1031 requirement. Both sides were pleased with this transaction.”
Ruble, Chris Lind and Zack House, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus and Phoenix offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. Tim Speck, Broker of Record in Texas, assisted in closing the transaction.
The newly constructed Sherwin-Williams is situated on a 0.93-acre lot at 2101 Avondale-Haslet Road. The 4,500-square-foot building is adjacent to a Walmart-anchored shopping center and has easy access to U.S. Highway 287, providing a direct route to Fort Worth.
