Marcus & Millichap Arranges the Sale of a Net-Leased Childcare Property in La Porte, Texas

La Porte, Texas, October 8, 2021 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research, and advisory services, announced today the sale of The Peanut Gallery, a 43,560-square-foot net-leased childcare property in La Porte, Texas, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager and first vice president of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. The asset sold for $1,553,000.

Dominic Sulo, senior vice president, and Eric B. Luhrsen, senior associate, and investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, an Arkansas-based limited liability company. The buyer, a Washington-based limited liability company, was secured and represented by Maxwell McDonald, first vice president and investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Seattle office. Tim Speck, Texas Broker of Record, assisted in closing this transaction.

The Peanut Gallery is located at 3902 Underwood Road in La Porte, Texas. A Cadence Childcare facility, the property is near the Houston area, less than five miles from Pasadena Freeway 225 and the Sam Houston Tollway.
