Skyler Cooper

Skyler Cooper is a Senior Managing Director Investments with the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, specializing in hospitality investment sales throughout the United States. Over his career with the firm, Mr. Cooper has been involved in 257 transactions representing more than $1.2 billion in sales volume.

Mr. Cooper joined Marcus & Millichap in 2012 and rejoined the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team in 2021 after serving as National Director of the firm’s Hospitality Division and Regional Manager of the Denver office. Since rejoining the team, he has consistently ranked among the top seven agents in Marcus & Millichap’s Hospitality Division, including a top-three ranking each year since 2023. In 2023, he also ranked among the top 20 investment sales agents firmwide. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Cooper has earned numerous sales and national achievement awards and was inducted into Marcus & Millichap’s prestigious Seven-Figure Club.

With a particular focus on premium-branded and select-service hotels, Mr. Cooper advises owners and investors on valuation, investment strategy, franchise positioning, property improvement plans, and transaction execution. His combination of brokerage experience, hotel operating knowledge, and longstanding relationships with owners, operators, lenders, franchise representatives, and investors nationwide has established him as a trusted resource within the hospitality investment community.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Cooper served as a Regional Sales Manager with Marriott International in the Washington, D.C. market, overseeing sales operations for more than 12 full-service hotels. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech and is an active member of AAHOA and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
