Joseph Ferguson is a real estate investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap's Minneapolis office, part of the firm's National Hospitality Group. Since joining Marcus & Millichap, Joseph has focused on the acquisition and disposition of hospitality properties across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. As a trusted advisor, he and the Minneapolis hospitality team have established themselves as premier resources in the five-state area.

Joseph transitioned to brokerage after 16 years of honorable service with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he gained extensive leadership experience and a strong work ethic. His deep understanding of market conditions, capital markets, and economic trends affecting the hospitality industry has quickly added value to his clients. Joseph excels in developing and maintaining successful business relationships through comprehensive research, expert negotiation, and dedicated advisory services.

Joseph Studied Psychology and Business Management at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, his military career took him around the world, including participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His final duty station brought him to Minnesota, where he led Logistics Operations for the Marine Corps Recruiting effort. Inspired by the vibrant life in the Twin Cities, Joseph decided to transition from the military to pursue a career in the Midwest's thriving hospitality market.
