Chez Eider

Chez Eider is a Senior Director of Investments in the Marcus & Millichap New Jersey office.

He specializes in the advisory and sale of multifamily, medical office, office investment properties, and select development sites.

With over 28 years of experience spanning brokerage, development, construction, and investment management, Chez brings a disciplined, underwriting-driven approach to asset positioning and transaction execution. He represents private investors, family offices, developers, lenders, and institutional owners in transactions ranging from individual buildings to complex multi-property portfolios across New Jersey and nationally.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Chez served as a Senior Project and Construction Manager at Somerset Development and later founded and led a national commercial construction and development firm. In that role, he oversaw more than 100 commercial and residential development projects totaling over 350 buildings and homes throughout the East Coast and Midwest.

His development and construction background provides clients with practical insight into valuation, capital improvement strategy, repositioning, and risk assessment throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Chez is a member of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group (NMHG), National Office & Industrial Group (NOIG), and National Land Group (NLG), as well as NAIOP and the New Jersey Apartment Association.

He is the recipient of the firm’s prestigious Mr. Marcus & Millichap Award, recognizing leadership and collaboration across the national platform.
