Chad O'Connor

Chad O’Connor joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in June 2004. Mr. O’Connor is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, senior housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional, and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and bridge lenders.

During his career with MMCC, Mr. O’Connor was honored as MMCC’s top originator in 2007 and has been a top producer since. He has been a consistent recipient of the firm’s prestigious National Achievement Award and Sales Recognition Award. He is a 7-time Chairman's Club winner and 5 time Circle of Excellence.

Mr. O’Connor is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology. He holds a real estate salesperson’s license from the California Department of Real Estate. He is currently active in the Commercial Realtors Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Developing Leaders.
