Ben Kalter

Ben Kalter is a commercial real estate agent based in Marcus & Millichap’s San Antonio, Texas, office. Specializing in multifamily investment sales, he advises private investors and apartment property owners on acquisitions and dispositions throughout San Antonio, and South Texas. As a member of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group, Kalter focuses on helping clients navigate market opportunities and make informed investment decisions in the multifamily sector.


Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2020, he has completed more than 40 transactions totaling over $200 million in sales volume. His expertise in market data analysis, underwriting, and communication enables him to provide clients with actionable insights, accurate property valuations, and strategic guidance throughout the transaction process. Kalter works closely with his clients to assess market conditions, and position properties effectively to achieve their investment objectives.


A San Antonio native, Kalter earned a degree in economics from Sewanee: The University of the South. He has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker in 2024 and 2025. Outside of commercial real estate, he enjoys playing golf, fly-fishing, and traveling.
