Federal Agencies Update Manufactured Housing Policies
to Improve Attainability, Contributing to Long-Term Low Vacancy
Over 22 million U.S. residents live in manufactured homes. Subsequently, government agencies, such as HUD, FHA and Ginnie Mae, have released policy changes and grants that will affect manufactured home communities and be accessible this year. These policies are aimed at community revitalization and reducing barriers to manufactured homeownership amid tight sector vacancy.
