Expanded Tourist Attractions and Revived Annual Events
Position St. Louis for Near-Term Recovery
Sports teams present tailwinds for downtown occupancy. After breaking ground in February 2020, Centene Stadium, the new home of St. Louis City SC, is on track to open for the 2023 season. Additionally, the St. Louis Blues hockey team conducted the 2021-2022 season at full in-person arena capacity for the first time since March 2020. The Cardinals have also ranked second in Major League Baseball attendance midway through the 2022 season.
