Orlando Hospitality Market Report

2025 Investment Forecast

Expanding Entertainment Landscape Spurs
Luxury Development and Shapes Investment Patterns

Major attractions and events revitalize hotel demand. Last year, Orlando’s hospitality market recorded its first decline in RevPAR since 2020 amid a pullback in domestic passenger traffic at Orlando International Airport. However, the debut of Epic Universe Park in May is expected to bring a surge of leisure travelers, significantly boosting occupancy levels during the second half of this year. The influx of visitors will counterbalance the most room deliveries since 2021, including 2,000 luxury keys tied to the park’s expansion. Full-service demand growth is forecasted to lead property types, as these hotels are booked by affluent visitors drawn to the new attractions. Meanwhile, Orlando’s Inter&Co and Camping World stadiums will host six FIFA Club World Cup matches as part of the tournament’s U.S. tour, driving increased visitation to the urban core. These major events should help bolster the metro’s hospitality market during ongoing economic uncertainty.
