Central Cincinnati Momentum,
Cross-River Growth Meet Elevated Pipeline

Wave of investment coming to the urban core and along the river. Projects such as the $3.6 billion Brent Spence Bridge, the $536 million Convention Center, the $330 million FC Cincinnati West End Entertainment District, and many other mixed-use riverfront projects are expected to enhance the urban landscape and boost economic activity through cross-river growth and infrastructure. These investments should increase local foot traffic and household counts as well as transportation efficiency, supporting demand and operations for local retail properties. While much of the development will bring competition for preexisting tenants in the area, central Cincinnati recorded the metro’s lowest vacancy rate at 2.9 percent in June.
