All 42 sites are monthly RV lots. The property operates on city water and septic sewer with water and trash paid by the property and electric billed back to residents. Amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, a dog park, horse stalls, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. The property is located less than half a mile from Interstate 20, which sees over 28,000 vehicles per day. Trent RV Park is positioned in the heart of West Central Texas, less than 20 minutes from Abilene, the cultural and economic hub of the Big Country region. The Abilene metro area generates nearly $10.3 billion in GDP and is supported by a regional labor shed of over 150,000 people. The city is home to three private universities, Texas State Technical College, and Dyess Air Force Base, the single largest employer in the area. Some recent notable developments include: April 2025: R+L Carriers announced a $15 million investment to build a new 58,000-square-foot trucking terminal on 21 acres at the DCOA's Access Business Park in Abilene. The project creates 22 new full-time jobs and is projected to generate more than $173 million in direct and indirect economic impact over 10 years. May 2025: Crusoe and Lancium announced Phase 2 of Project Radiance, an OpenAI Stargate AI data center campus in Abilene. The $47 billion project will ultimately include eight data center buildings totaling approximately 4 million square feet, with 400 new direct jobs and an estimated $4 billion or more in direct and indirect economic impact over 20 years. Phase 2 is targeted for completion in mid-to-late 2026. December 2025: Bass Pro Shops announced a new 72,000-square-foot Outpost location in Abilene anchoring Rainy Creek, a 35-acre mixed-use development along I-20 adjacent to Abilene Christian University. The store is expected to create more than 115 jobs and open in early 2027. January 2026: Sweetwater's SEED MDD has invested more than $2 million to clear condemned commercial structures throughout the city, creating build-ready sites on prime commercial properties for new investors and developers.
