in preliminary phases and has not announced any of the potential

ground in late 2026, with a later date for a grand opening.
January 2026: Golden Triangle Polymers will be a world-scale
integrated polymers facility in Orange, Texas, expected to create more
than 500 full-time jobs and approximately 4,500 construction jobs.
The project will generate an estimated $50 billion for the community
in residual economic impacts over 20 years. The total cost for the
project is expected to be $8.5 billion with startup planned in 2026.
January 2025: USG Paper, LLC plans to invest $715 million to
expand its paper manufacturing operations to Orange creating from
120 to 150 new jobs at the former International Paper facility which
had closed the previous fall.
