Patriot RV Park - Abilene is a 77-site community located in Abilene, Texas. The property sits on 12.81 acres and was built in 2010. There is an opportunity to cover 20 of the current sites thus increasing the average rate on those sites by roughly $240 per month. All utilities are paid for by the ownership and the park operates on public water and septic water system. Abilene is strategically located in west central Texas and has the foundation and infrastructure to ship goods and commodities throughout the United States. The asset is located on Interstate 20 which sees over 33,000 vehicles daily. Major employers include Dyess Air Force Base, AbiMar Foods, Broadwind Towers, Coca-Cola, Eagle Aviation Services, First Financial Bankshares and Tige Boats. Abilene’s higher education institutions include Abilene Christian University, Hardin-Simmons University, and Texas State Technical College. In addition, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Abilene is a top health-focused educational institution. For over 70 years, Abilene has been home to the 6,400-acre Dyess Air Force Base with over 13,000 military and civilian people. The base employs more than 5,000 people, making it the single largest employer in the area. The Texas Demographics Center projects Taylor County and the Abilene Metropolitan Statistical Area will experience a big population increase in the coming years. In September 2025, the center, which is the office of the state’s official demographer, released projections compiled in 2024. The 2020 official census count for Taylor County was 143,208. The latest projections show it gaining more than 40,000 people by 2060. It’s projected to generate more than $252 million in direct and indirect economic impact for Abilene over the next decade and create 33 new jobs. • April 2025: R+L Carriers will spend $15 million to build a new 58,000 square foot trucking terminal. They expect to create 22 new full-time jobs with an estimated direct and indirect economic impact of over $173 million over the next ten years. • March 2025: Lancium’s $3.4 billion expansion to their data center is underway. The full buildout of 4 million sq ft is expected to bring a $1 billion economic impact over 20 years. • June 2024: AbiMar announces plans for a $4.6 million expansion to their Abilene facility over the next two years.
