They are incredibly close to the Rick Husband International Airport with approximately 1 mile between them as the crow flies. KOA Journey locations offer pull-thru sites, well-lit after-hour check-in service, and large selection of RV and camping supplies. They also offer amenities such as WiFi, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, dog park, pool, playground, tetherball, corn hole, guest lounge, business center, and barbecue grills. The city of Amarillo is the 14th-most populous city in Texas and the most populous city in the Texas panhandle. Palo Duro Canyon, the second largest canyon in the United States, is a popular spot for those who enjoy hiking, biking, or just spending time outdoors. The store is set to open in February 2025 and will create at least 200 full-time jobs for the community. • December 2024: Expected groundbreaking of the AG Plant Systems $510 million Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facility in Amarillo.
