The Park at West Homestead is located at 305 SW 6th Avenue, Homestead, FL. The site is approximately 1.65 acres or 71,874 square feet. Located in the Southwest Neighborhood, which is just west of downtown Homestead. This is a designated mixed-use area with city back development plans to meed the 2021 master plan vision of 2021. The site currently has an approved resolution from the City of Homestead, Florida, granting site plan approval for the development of approximately 54,151 square feet mixed use building, consisting of 16,561 commercial square footage and 24 residential units. This was approved June 9, 2021. The plan calls for two buildings, each three stories with ground floor retail. The second and third floor would consist of the residential units. There are four floor plans ranging from 1,330 to 1,480 square feet. Two of the floor plans are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two floor plans of three bedrooms, two bathrooms. There is a possibility of going through the approval process for a project that would allow for 78 dwelling units with approximately 4,800 square feet of retail space. The units would consist of 36 one bedrooms and 42 two bedrooms. This project would be three stories with surface parking. The process could take up to 12 months.
