Marcus & Millichap Arranges $3.6M Sale of CVS in Birmingham Suburb

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala., Nov. 5, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of a CVS in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. The asset sold for $3,640,400.
“We were engaged to market a six-property CVS portfolio across Alabama and generated strong interest from both private and institutional investors on a local and national level,” said Andrew Chason, managing director investments in Marcus & Millichap's Mobile office. “Ultimately, we sold this property to a local cash investor who closed the transaction in under 30 days.”
Chason exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the private seller.
The property at 2480 Rocky Ridge Road is a 10,125-square-foot retail property on a 1.38-acre lot. It was built in 1999 and is occupied by CVS under a double-net lease with a corporate guarantee and 11.3 years of lease term remaining.
The property, surrounded by retailers, restaurants and residential communities, is less than 10 miles from downtown Birmingham. Vestavia Hills is the third largest city in Jefferson County, located along US Highway 31 and Interstate 459. Major employers include Vestavia Hills City Schools, Vulcan Materials Company, the City of Vestavia Hills, NaphCare and Drummond Company.
