Marcus & Millichap Arranges $2.8 Million Sale of Historic Downtown Ellensburg Landmark

ELLENSBURG, Wash., Oct. 8, 2026 — Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the $2.8 million sale of The Davidson, a historic 23,831-square-foot retail property in downtown Ellensburg, Washington. The sale marked the first time the property had changed ownership in 20 years. 

“This was a rare opportunity to acquire one of downtown Ellensburg's most recognizable properties,” said Zachary Howe, managing director investments. “The buyer has roots in Ellensburg and plans to continue the seller's legacy of stewardship while carrying the building into its next chapter.” 

Howe, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap's Seattle office, represented the seller, Ellensburg Davidson LLC, in the transaction. The buyer was Selaw LLC. 

The Davidson is located at 400 N. Pearl St. in downtown Ellensburg. Built in 1889 following the Great Fire, the 23,831-square-foot property sits on 0.27 acres and sold for $117 per square foot. Ellensburg is home to Central Washington University and is located along the Interstate 90 corridor.
