Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Super 8 Hotel in North Carolina

GARYSBURG, N.C., Oct. 26, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a Super 8 by Wyndham in Garysburg, North Carolina. The asset sold for $4,637,000.
“Our competitive marketing process generated interest from multiple buyers and ultimately led us to a seasoned purchaser with a clear plan for the property,” said Milin Mehta, associate director investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Charlotte office. “The buyer plans to convert the hotel to a Quality Inn by Choice Hotels, building on the property’s recent renovation and location directly off Interstate 95.”
Mehta, Jack Davis and Joce Messinger of Marcus & Millichap, in association with Charles Gallagher, the firm’s broker of record in North Carolina, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Seva Hospitality LLC, and procured the buyer.
The two-story property was built in 1972 and fully renovated in 2024. It includes 97 operational rooms, a four-bedroom manager's apartment and a detached lobby and retail building on 9.81 acres. The 97-unit mix consists of 25 king rooms and 72 double rooms.
The property is located at 6785 NC-46, directly off Interstate 95 on the border of Roanoke Rapids and the Virginia state line. It is close to ECU Health North Hospital, Lake Gaston, Roanoke Rapids Lake, Roanoke River and the Carolina Crossroads Entertainment District.
