Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Temple, Texas

TEMPLE, Texas, July 28, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 71-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Temple, Texas.
“The property generated strong investor interest, receiving multiple offers after being on the market for less than 30 days,” said Skyler Cooper, senior managing director investments. “We ultimately selected a buyer we had successfully transacted with in the past, whose offer included a substantial amount of nonrefundable earnest money, providing confidence and certainty throughout the closing process.”
Cooper, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer. The transaction received additional support from Chris Gomes and Allan Miller of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team.
The hotel is located at 2609 S. 39th St., less than two miles from Interstate 35 and within Temple’s Baylor Scott & White Hospital District. The property is adjacent to major healthcare, corporate and educational institutions, including Baylor Scott & White Hospital, McLane Children’s Hospital and McLane Company headquarters, positioning it to capture consistent business, medical and leisure travel demand.
