Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of 121-Room Residence Inn in Texarkana, Texas

TEXARKANA, Texas, Jan. 15, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 121-room Residence Inn hotel property in Texarkana, Texas.
“Both the buyer and seller are repeat clients of Marcus & Millichap, which made the transaction a bit smoother than otherwise” said Chris Gomes, executive managing director investments. “The buyer has developed, owned and operated several other hotels in the past in Texarkana and knows the market dynamics extremely well. This, along with their strong relationship with lender, made the deal come to a swift close.”
Gomes, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the Dallas-based hotel owning company, and procured the buyer, an affiliate of Daugherty Property Group. The transaction received additional support from Skyler Cooper and Allan Miller of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team.
The Residence Inn by Marriott Texarkana is located at 3900 Saint Michael Drive, just off Interstate 30 and U.S. Highway 59. Built in 2014 and renovated in 2023, the hotel features amenities including an indoor pool, fitness center, business center and meeting space. It is situated on 2.32 acres in a dense retail corridor near national retailers such as Target, Sam’s Club and Central Mall.
