Marcus & Millichap Arranges $5.5 Million Sale of Retail Center at Kennesaw State University

KENNESAW, Ga., Dec. 8, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the $5.5 million sale of University Point, a 12,800-square-foot retail center located on the campus of Kennesaw State University.

Taylor and Eric Abbott, director investments, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private Atlanta-area owner.
University Point is located at 1133 Chastain Road NW and includes seven tenants: Mellow Mushroom, Jimmy John’s, WingStop, Insomnia Cookies, Tinto’s Café, Vivint Smart Home and the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Office. Built in 2005, the center is fully occupied and sits along Chastain Road near Interstate 75.
