Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation Arranges $22 Million Financing for Scottsdale Independent Living Center

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., November 21, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), a leading provider of commercial real estate capital markets financing solutions, arranged $22 million in financing for The Springs of Scottsdale Independent & Senior Assisted Living, a 143-unit independent living center located at 3212 North Miller Road in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Paul Winterowd, managing director in MMCC’s Salt Lake City office, secured the financing with a national life insurance company on behalf of Stellar Senior Living, a family owned and Utah-based company that operates senior living communities in Arizona, Montana, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho and Texas. 

“We were pleased to secure a five-year loan with a 60% loan-to-value ratio, a competitive interest rate of 6.05%, and a 27-year amortization schedule that aligns well with the client’s long-term strategy,” said Winterowd.

The property is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Scottsdale and offers resort-style living with one- and two-bedroom units equipped with full kitchens and individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Additional amenities include all-inclusive dining, housekeeping and linen services, a full-time concierge and a gym with daily exercise classes.
