Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale and Financing of 66-Unit Multifamily Portfolio in Platteville, Wisconsin for $5.05M

PLATTEVILLE, Wis., October 21, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of a 66-unit multifamily portfolio in Platteville, Wisconsin, for $5.05 million. Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap, secured the financing.
“This was the first time these properties had ever been brought to market, making it a rare opportunity,” said Blake Hanlon, director investments. “The majority of the portfolio was developed and held by the same family office for more than 40 years. The new ownership plans to improve operations and is well positioned to benefit from stable demand in a market with limited new development.
Hanlon and Mark Peltin, senior director investments, in Marcus & Millichap’s Milwaukee office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. They procured the buyer, a group of investors from out of state. Michael Hughes, managing director of the firm’s Milwaukee office, secured the financing.
The portfolio includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units across a combined 3.42 acres. All buildings are located within five minutes of each other and near the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
