Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of 13-Suite Retail Property in Harwood Heights, Illinois

September 15, 2025

HARWOOD HEIGHTS, Ill., Sept. 11, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Holiday Plaza, a 13-suite retail property in Harwood Heights, Illinois.

“Holiday Plaza’s extremely convenient location, near the northwest edge of Chicago between O’Hare Airport and Downtown, made it a compelling investment,” said Adrian Mendoza, senior managing director investments. “The buyer plans to re-tenant the former grocery store space, which offers a great value-add opportunity in a market with limited space available to lease.”

Mendoza, Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, procured the buyer, a private investor.

Holiday Plaza, located at 4747 N. Harlem Ave., comprises 70,345 rentable square feet on five acres. Built in 1988, the property sits at the intersection of Harlem and Lawrence avenues, offering visibility to nearly 48,000 vehicles per day. It is less than one mile from Interstate 90 and surrounded by numerous national retailers. The center features a strong mix of service, retail and restaurant tenants, including Orange Theory Fitness and Starbucks.
