Marcus & Millichap Brokers $3.4M Sale of Five-Suite Retail Strip in Hutchinson, Kansas

HUTCHINSON, Kan., Aug. 18, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of 401 E. 4th Ave., a four-suite retail strip and a Dillon’s Fuel Station Ground Lease in Hutchinson, Kansas. The 50,420-square-foot property is leased to national tenants including Planet Fitness, Dollar Tree and Dillon’s Fuel Station. It sold for $3,415,000. 

Mark Ruble, Chris Lind and Zack House, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Phoenix office, in association with Colby Haugness, Marcus & Millichap’s broker of record in Kansas, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a Kansas limited liability company. 

Built in 1968, the 50,420-square-foot property sits on 3.98 acres adjacent to downtown Hutchinson. Located one mile south of Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College, the center serves a population of more than 46,000 residents within a five-mile radius.
