Marcus & Millichap Brokers $5.65 Million Sale of Retail Strip in Miami’s Dadeland Submarket

MIAMI, April 15, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Plaza 77 Shops, a 9,590-square-foot retail strip center in the Dadeland area of Miami for $5.65 million.
Drew A. Kristol and Kirk D. Olson, both senior managing directors in Marcus & Millichap’s Miami office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Plaza 77 Shops LLC, and procured the buyer, a local private investor.
“Plaza 77 is a rare neighborhood strip center in the Dadeland area, with both national tenants and below-market rents,” said Kristol. “The buyer is a local investor group looking to expand their Miami-Dade retail portfolio.”
The fully occupied center, located at 9630 SW 77th Ave., is anchored by corporate-guaranteed Trulieve and Domino’s Pizza, which has operated at the site since 1986. All nine tenants have an average tenure of 12 years. The property is less than a mile from Downtown Dadeland and Dadeland Mall, just west of South Dixie Highway. More than 100,000 people live within a three-mile radius, with an average household income exceeding $145,000.
