Marcus & Millichap Brokers $4.15 Million Sale of Shoppers World in Hampton

HAMPTON, Ga., Nov. 29, 2023 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Shoppers World in Hampton, Georgia. The property sold for $4,150,000.

Eric Abbott and Zachary Taylor in Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office represented the buyer AGW Partners, a New York based Investor, Owner, and Manager. This is the third shopping center the buyer has closed in the Atlanta MSA in the last 12 Months. Michael Wesselmann, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office, represented the seller, Hamza Haneef of HMH Group Inc. (hmhre.com), a private investment group, in this off-market transaction.
Situated at 1985 McDonough Road, this 28,028-square-foot retail center comprises 12 suites housing national tenants such as T-Mobile, Little Caesars, and Goodwill. With a daily traffic count of 10,200 vehicles, the center was sold with a 72% occupancy. It is located near major grocery stores, schools, and residential neighborhoods, including Walmart, Wells Fargo, UPS, and Chick-Fil-A.
