Matthew Peters in Marcus & Millichap’s New York City office was recognized by Connect CRE as part of its Next Gen Awards program.
The award recognizes emerging leaders in commercial real estate who have made meaningful contributions to their firms and the industry. Peters was selected for his work in investment sales across Brooklyn and his advisory role helping property owners navigate acquisitions, dispositions and repositioning strategies.
Over the course of his career with Marcus & Millichap, he has closed more than $186 million in investment sales and completed more than 2,500 property valuations. He specializes in mixed-use, multifamily and development properties throughout Central and Eastern Brooklyn and advises clients on 1031 exchange strategies, including opportunities to reposition capital in and out of New York.
As team leader of The Peters Team of Marcus & Millichap, he oversees business development, underwriting and transaction execution while advising private investors and property owners throughout New York and the Northeast.
