The Marcus & Millichap Internship

The Marcus & Millichap Internship is a paid 8-week corporate-sponsored program in which rising college seniors work directly with established, successful agents to prepare for a career in commercial real estate. This unique opportunity will be a blend of education, training, and mentorship where interns will be in-office for the day-to-day CRE agent experience, while also having the chance to attend workshops, Marcus & Millichap University classes, and network with senior agents.

Applications for the 2025 Summer Internship are now closed. Information for the 2026 program will be available in October.

The Marcus & Millichap Internship

The Ideal Starting Point for a Commercial Real Estate Career

During the course of the program, interns will be involved in various professional activities and training events including:

Interacting with senior agents and management
Participating in office and team-specific projects
Mentorship from agents to explore the fundamentals of commercial real estate
A skills development program with an industry-leading curriculum on how to couple real world experience with their training
Daily workshops with agents, intern-only workshops, and informative conversations with senior agents
Workshops include modules on financing, business development, cold calling, first appointment, underwriting, capital markets
National exposure to sales meetings and in-person role play
Creation of Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs), Offering Memorandums (OMs), and contracts

Application Requirements

In order to apply for the Marcus & Millichap Internship, students must be:

Rising college juniors or seniors
Enrolled at an accredited university
Pursuing a real estate minor or major or participating in a real estate club or boot camp
