Andy Chan was born in Hong Kong and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, where he currently resides. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During his time there, he spent a semester abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining Marcus & Millichap, he worked as the Manager of the Din Tai Fung USA flagship restaurant in Arcadia. There, he managed over 100 employees, oversaw operations, and helped to open the South Coast Plaza branch in Orange County where he hired and trained the staff and management team. On his off time, he enjoys reading, family, tennis, and learning new languages. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, and French. His language skills and cultural background are invaluable in helping him to best advise his clients on their commercial real estate investments in the San Gabriel Valley.
