Val Costescu

Val Costescu joined the Orange County office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in December 2025. Mr. Costescu is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail and hospitality. He has deep relationships in the commercial banking sector as well as with agency lenders (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), life insurance companies, CMBS providers, debt funds and joint venture equity partners.

Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Costescu served as a Relationship Manager for a regional bank, where he originated, structured, and closed commercial real estate loans for all asset types and managed a sizable portfolio for commercial businesses and real estate investor clients. Mr. Costescu is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance. He’s also held a California real estate salesperson license since 2020.
