Tyrell McGee

Tyrell McGee is a senior associate in the Chicago Downtown office and will be focusing on structuring corporate sale leaseback and build-to-suit financing. With 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, Tyrell specializes in research and analytics as well as real estate transaction advisory services for private equity sponsors (M&A), independent sponsors, owner-occupiers, developers and investment banks. During his tenure at Newmark, Tyrell served as the lead senior financial analyst for the newly formed Corporate Capital Markets group, playing a pivotal role in the underwriting, marketing and closing of transactions totaling over $4.0 billion. His deep industry knowledge and analytical acumen have significantly contributed to successful deal executions and strategic investment decisions. By consistently prioritizing collaboration and maintaining transparency in all interactions, he has fostered trust and mutual respect among colleagues, clients, and industry peers.

Prior to Newmark, Tyrell was a financial analyst at CBRE within its Corporate Capital Markets group where he assisted in underwriting and marketing efforts on behalf of Fortune 500 companies.

Tyrell holds a dual degree in Finance and Commercial Real Estate from Marquette University. In his free time, Tyrell enjoys being physically and mentally active, trying new restaurants and spending time with his friends and family.
