Tyler Murphy

Tyler Murphy specializes in the sale and acquisition of single-tenant net leased investment properties, with a primary focus on freestanding Quick-Service and Fast Casual Restaurant assets. As part of Marcus & Millichap’s national Net Leased team, he advises clients on acquisition, disposition, and financing strategies across a wide range of triple-net (NNN) investment opportunities, offering expertise on lease structures, tenant performance, operational considerations, and evolving market trends.

As a net leased investment specialist primarily focused on the quick-service and fast-casual restaurant sectors, Tyler represents national tenants across both categories and delivers tailored, data-driven insights aligned with each client’s investment objectives. He combines a nationwide understanding of tenant performance with deep knowledge of local demand drivers throughout New England. Tyler frequently conducts on-site assessments to evaluate traffic patterns, performance indicators, and surrounding retail competition—providing clients with informed guidance for both short- and long-term decision-making.

For clients not currently pursuing a sale, Tyler offers advisory support across the ownership cycle. Through Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, he helps clients secure competitive financing for refinances and acquisitions while also identifying nationwide opportunities for investors completing 1031 exchanges.

Tyler earned a B.B.A. in Business Management and International Business from Villanova University in 2023 and a Master of Professional Studies in Food Business from The Culinary Institute of America in 2025. Originally from Andover, he maintains a strong network throughout New England and is committed to delivering exceptional service, market knowledge, and execution for his clients.
