Tyler Murphy

Tyler Murphy specializes in the sale and acquisition of freestanding Quick-Service Restaurants (QSRs) for tenants including, but not limited to, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen, Domino’s, Five Guys, McDonald’s, Popeyes, Raising Cane’s, Subway, Wendy’s, and other prominent brands in the fast-food industry. His targeted expertise enables him to stay attuned to unique lease structures, evolving consumer trends, and real estate dynamics within the sector, delivering tailored insights to meet his clients' specific investment objectives.

As a member of Marcus & Millichap’s national Net Leased team with a primary focus on New England markets, Tyler combines nationwide perspectives on tenant performance with local knowledge of demand drivers within New England sub-markets. This dual approach allows him to provide clients with well-rounded, strategic advice for their investment decisions. A cornerstone of Tyler’s practice is conducting on-site assessments of properties, including evaluating performance metrics, traffic patterns, and the surrounding competitive retail landscape.

For clients not currently pursuing a sale, Tyler offers comprehensive advisory services throughout the entire ownership cycle. Through Marcus & Millichap’s Capital Corporation, he connects clients to competitive financing options for refinancing or for new acquisitions. Additionally, he helps clients identify nationwide investment opportunities, including those designed to fulfill tax-deferred 1031 exchange requirements.

Tyler earned a B.B.A. in Business Management and International Business from Villanova University’s School of Business in 2023. Originally from Andover, Massachusetts, Tyler possesses an in-depth understanding of the New England region and has cultivated a broad network throughout the greater Boston area.
