Todd McKenna joined the San Francisco office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in February 2020. As a Director with MMCC, Mr. McKenna is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well versed in national, regional and local funding sources including agency lenders, commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds, bridge lenders, and hard money lenders. Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. McKenna served as an originator with Redwood Mortgage Corporation, a manager of multiple syndicated debt funds. At Redwood he focused on small balance ($1,000,000 - $25,000,000) bridge lending. Prior to RMC, Mr. McKenna was an executive director in institutional sales at Oppenheimer & Co., where he covered asset managers ranging from hedge funds and family offices to large mutual fund companies.
Mr. McKenna is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a B.A. in Applied Mathematics. He also holds an M.A. in Financial Economics from University of San Francisco. He has a California real estate license and is also a member of Urban Land Institute and Bay Area Mortgage Association.
