Stephen Westerberg is a seasoned commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in investment sales across retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York. With more than 17 years of experience, Westerberg has closed over $1.5 billion in commercial transactions, earning recognition as one of the region’s top-performing advisors.

Known for his strategic, client-focused approach, Westerberg represents property owners with a disciplined emphasis on underwriting, financial analysis, and pre-market positioning to maximize returns. His expertise extends to 1031 exchange transactions, value optimization strategies, and long-term investment planning, delivering results that consistently exceed market benchmarks and client expectations.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Westerberg led investment sales divisions at both Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Colliers International. His client roster includes institutional and private owners such as Bank of New York, Ceruzzi Properties, Fareri and Associates, Kamber Management, Kensico Properties, and Wells Fargo. Notable transactions include the $50.5 million sale of 411 West Putnam Avenue and the $30.5 million sale of 2 Soundview Drive in Greenwich, Connecticut.

A Connecticut resident, Westerberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a graduate of the CCIM Real Estate Market and Financial Analysis program. He is affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. Outside the office, he enjoys sailing, skiing, and traveling with his family and their dog, Matouk.
