Serge Duval

Serge Duval was born, raised, and educated in South Africa. He immigrated to Canada in 1986 where he started a clothing sourcing Agency SEBERN INT with a primary focus on the following Asian manufacturing markets. Serge established offices and ran the operations out of China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong from 1989. All merchandise was sourced and manufactured for the Canadian and American retail markets. He travelled extensively to all these countries. Serge sold the business in 1998 to a business partner to focus on family and a new career in real estate.

In 1999, Serge obtained his real estate license and started as an Industrial Broker at Colliers from 2000 to 2006 where he rose to the ranks of Vice President focusing and specializing on Industrial build to suit market with over 20 Built to Suit mandates full filled for a total of approx. 1 million SF.

In 2006 Serge joined the CBRE Industrial Investment team. He formed the Montréal National Investment Team in 2008. The team transacted for over 4 billion dollars in investment transactions, specializing in single and multi-tenant big box transactions.

In March 2021, Serge joined Marcus & Millichap as a Senior Managing Director Investments with a focus on Industrial and land dispositions along with Sale Lease Backs.

Currently sitting on the board of Nazareth Community with a focus on homeless housing for the mentally disenfranchised under Nazareth House, Anne’s House and now John’s House.

Serge is a father of 5 amazing children.
