Sam Medford

Sam Medford rejoined Marcus & Millichap in the Portland, Oregon office in 2014. His short hiatus was preceded by a long tenure with the firm beginning in 1992. He successfully assists owners in hotel transactions nationwide from New York to Florida and California. Sam listed and sold the largest cross-country ski resort in North America. He has listed multiple to single hotel assets and has experience in resort, full and limited service hotel brokerage. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap Mr. Medford was in the resort management business at Northstar-at-Tahoe, a year-round full-service top-rated resort in the Lake Tahoe area of Northern California.

The following are a few of his accomplishments included: Listed and sold the largest cross country resort in North America located in the Lake Tahoe Area representing both owner and buyer; The disposition of the Concord Resort Hotel a 1,300 room property 90 miles North of New York City in the Catskills; Represented a Nevada Developer in the sale of three of their limited service properties in Northern Nevada: Represented the owner and buyer in the sale of a 104-room boutique hotel in San Francisco, California.
