Robert Filley

Bob has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience across development, leasing, sales, and finance. Since entering investment sales in 2003, he has led or been involved in more than $4 billion in commercial property transactions.

Bob is a Senior Managing Director with Institutional Property Advisors, a division of Marcus & Millichap. He has expanded advisory into the data center sector with notable site and asset sales while continuing to advise clients on office, industrial, medical, and other specialized property transactions.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Bob was a Managing Director with Transwestern’s Institutional Commercial Group in Washington, DC. He previously worked with L.J. Melody in Seattle, and began his career with Koll Development Company, where he worked four years internationally on shopping center development projects in Taiwan and China.

Bob brings a broad perspective and deep real estate skill set to each assignment, helping clients identify opportunities, navigate complex transactions, and create value.
