Robert Bloch

Robert Bloch joined the Washington, DC office of Marcus & Millichap in May, 2024 as a Senior Vice President. Mr. Bloch is responsible for Institutional level self-storage transactions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States. He is well connected with owners, operators, developers and investors.

Mr. Bloch has more than 12 years of commercial real estate experience and has closed more than $800,000,000 in transactions. He specializes in self-storage advisory, disposition and acquisition services. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Bloch served as Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield in Washington, DC.

During his career, Mr. Bloch has been a featured speaker at numerous self-storage industry events, has published articles in trade journals examining issues related to capital markets and had been the recipient of numerous awards related to his work in self-storage capital markets.

Mr. Bloch is a graduate of Grinnell College, where he earned a BA degree in economics. He holds a real estate license in Maryland and is also a member of the SSA and numerous state associations.
