Philip Batlin

Philip Batlin is a Managing Director in the National Multi Housing Group at Marcus & Millichap's San Francisco office. Since 2009, he has specialized in multifamily property sales, exclusively representing buyers and sellers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, with particular expertise in San Mateo County. Promoted to First Vice President of Investments in 2017, Phil has established himself as one of the region's premier apartment brokers. He also works closely with 1031 exchange investors to identify, negotiate, and acquire replacement properties.

A third-generation San Francisco native, Phil graduated from San Diego State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science.
An active participant in Marcus & Millichap's National Multi Housing Group and the Bay Area real estate community, Phil leverages key industry platforms including MLS, Crexi and LoopNet.
In his free time, he maintains a daily fitness routine at the San Francisco Olympic Club and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
