Peter Bauman is a Senior Managing Director of Investments and a senior leader within Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus and Millichap, where he plays a key role in shaping national strategy, mentoring top producers, and elevating advisory standards across the firm’s U.S. platform. As one of IPA’s influential leaders, Peter drives cross market collaboration and contributes to the continued expansion of the firm’s Industrial and Office brokerage footprint nationwide.

With more than 15 years of experience, over $3.2 billion in career transaction volume, and successful closings in 43 states across the country, Peter is recognized nationally for his expertise in Industrial and Office investment sales. His work spans single tenant and multi-tenant industrial assets, corporate office dispositions, sale leasebacks, net lease portfolios, and complex 1031 exchange strategies, consistently delivering maximized value and exceptional execution for private investors, family offices, and institutional clients.

Based in Scottsdale, Peter co leads the Bauman Moffitt Team, where he provides institutional grade valuation, financial modeling, and investment strategy. He has built a reputation for crafting clear, data driven investment narratives and executing high impact marketing strategies that resonate with a nationwide buyer pool.

A respected leader within IPA, Peter continues to advance the firm’s mission by delivering superior execution, strategic insight, and a national perspective that supports both clients and colleagues across the United States.

Prior to IPA, Peter worked at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and Colliers International specializing in investments sales on a national basis. During his tenure at JLL he helped establish and build their Corporate Finance Division. While at Colliers, he chaired the Net Lease Practice Group and was on the Board of the Leadership Committee.
