Pete Te Kampe

Pete joined Marcus & Millichap as a commercial real estate agent in 1995 and has earned the distinction of Vice President Investments. The Firm has recognized him for outstanding performance in commercial real estate sales. Industry insiders know him as a reliable and accurate authority on the Phoenix apartment market and he is known for placing the interests of his clients above his own. He has accurately predicted apartment industry revenue streams and property values each year since 2001 and consequently, local media, lenders and savvy investors seek his expertise. He has a proven track record spanning two decades of helping his clients gain strategic advantages in transactions and of putting his clients into highly profitable investments.

Pete is the Arizona Multihousing Association 2010 Industry Partner of the Year.

Pete was elected to the Arizona Multihousing Association Board of Directors four times and is the first commercial real estate agent solely engaged in brokerage to ever serve on the AMA Board. He speaks regularly on industry trends and was selected as a panel member for the Urban Land Institute’s November 2009 Influx/Outflux Conference. He was a guest expert on National Public Radio affiliate KJZZ in December 2010, August 2014 and in May 2016 as an apartment market resource.

Investors value his no-nonsense approach to commercial real estate brokerage and his ability to make transactions transparent. He is adept at executing difficult assignments and effective at working with investors, escrow personnel, attorneys, lenders, appraisers, managers, and property inspectors for the purpose of closing transactions. His skill at applying sophisticated and detailed market information on behalf of his clients makes him extremely valuable to them.

He served as the Sponsorship Chair for Starfest 2012, the Mercedes-Benz Club of North America’s national event which was held in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pete earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
