Nicholas Kanich

Nicholas G. Kanich is a commercial real estate agent based in Marcus & Millichap's Chicago Downtown office, specializing in net lease retail investment sales. He advises private investors, property owners and 1031 exchange buyers on the acquisition and disposition of net lease retail properties throughout the Chicago metropolitan area and across the United States.

With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and more than 300 completed transactions totaling over $1.75 billion in sales, Nicholas provides strategic guidance throughout every stage of the transaction process. His experience includes helping clients evaluate opportunities, navigate complex negotiations and execute successful investment strategies for single-tenant and net lease retail assets. Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2005, he has built a reputation for bringing parties together to overcome challenging negotiations and achieve successful closings.

Nicholas earned a bachelor's degree in finance with concentrations in real estate and entrepreneurship from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Originally from Ogden Dunes, Indiana, he combines market knowledge, relationship-driven advisory services and a collaborative approach to help clients achieve their investment objectives.
