Mike Farrar

Michael Farrar is a commercial real estate agent based in Marcus & Millichap’s Phoenix office, specializing in land investment sales. He advises national institutional investors, regional developers and high-net-worth family offices on the acquisition and disposition of commercial land throughout Arizona. With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Michael provides strategic guidance backed by extensive market knowledge and transaction expertise.

Throughout his career, Michael has orchestrated complex transactions across retail, industrial, office, multifamily and commercial land development. He is recognized for helping clients maximize asset value through sophisticated market analysis, strategic positioning and tailored transaction structures. His experience navigating complex negotiations enables sellers to optimize pricing while guiding buyers through detailed due diligence to support efficient, successful closings.

Aside from his work experiences, Michael has also served as a Town Councilman for the Town of Carefree and in leadership roles with the Maricopa Association of Governments, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, reflecting his longstanding commitment to Arizona’s economic development and civic leadership.

Michael graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Arizona University. He also earned a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an International MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland.
