Matthew Poulton

Matthew Poulton joined the Phoenix office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in June 2023. Mr. Poulton is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, senior housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (E.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and hard money lenders.

Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Poulton was a Managing Director at a national investment firm where he was responsible for a $1 billion AUM book of business comprised of institutional clients and their retirement plans. He built and grew relationships with key decision-makers and C-suite executives to optimize their retirement plans so their employees had the best chance for success.

Mr. Poulton is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Built Environments with a concentration in Sustainable Communities. He is also on the executive board of the Phoenix 20-30 Club, a philanthropic group that helps at-risk youth in the Phoenix Valley community.
