Madison K. Harman

Madison Harman, (formerly Madison Shurtz), First Vice President of Investments, guides her clients through a proactive decision-making process when it comes to the acquisition, disposition and exchange of investment grade retail, net leased and medical office properties throughout the United States.

Madison joined Marcus & Millichap in 2014 as an associate. In 2021 she closed over $210 Million in transactions as a Partner of the Yoder-Harman Group. The Yoder-Harman Group prides itself on the achievement of a 98% list to close ratio for pricing on all assets traded, and has underwritten over $3.2 Billion in assets with 245 deals closed in 22 States.

In 2016, Madison became a member of the National Retail Group and Net Leased Properties Group of Marcus & Millichap. In 2018 she earned Senior Associate, in 2019 she became an Associate Director NRG and in 2021 she was promoted to First Vice President Investments. Madison has also accomplished becoming a Director of the Net Leased Properties Group and an Associate Director of the National Retail Group. Madison adds value to clients by helping them create and preserve wealth, and prides herself on her understanding of the trends of the retail and medical office markets.

Madison attended Indiana University Bloomington where she majored in Italian, Spanish and graduated from the Kelley School of Business. During her time at IU, Madison was a member of the IUSF and a rider in the Women's Little 500 representing the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Madison is an active member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and attends local CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) events. She grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and now resides in Indianapolis with her husband Ryder Harman and her daughter Kay. In her spare time Madison enjoys traveling, and spending time outside with her family and her golden retrievers, Karma and Bear.
