Lucas Vicente Koupai is a Multifamily Investment Specialist with The Azzi Group at Marcus & Millichap in the Century City office, specializing in multifamily investment properties throughout Los Angeles and Los Angeles County, with special focus on Koreatown, Mid-City, Pico-Union, West Adams, Harvard Heights, and surrounding submarkets.

Lucas represents multifamily property owners and private investors in acquisitions, dispositions, market positioning, and long-term investment planning. His disciplined approach, strategic mindset, and competitive background help clients navigate complex decisions and identify opportunities in Los Angeles’ evolving multifamily market.

Prior to joining The Azzi Group, while attending college, Lucas gained valuable experience working with his business partner in the management and operation of multifamily properties. This hands-on exposure strengthened his understanding of property operations, investment performance, and the financial objectives of multifamily owners, allowing him to connect with clients from both ownership and representation perspectives.

Lucas graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a degree in Finance, where he served on the executive board of the Financial Management Association (FMA) as Vice President of Public Relations and was consistently recognized on the Dean’s List and President’s List for his academic achievements.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Lucas is fluent in Portuguese and English. Before pursuing commercial real estate, he served for five years in the Brazilian Army Special Forces as an airborne soldier and represented his unit in the Military Olympics as a pentathlon athlete, where he became a five-time consecutive gold medalist. These experiences helped shape the discipline, resilience, and strategic mindset Lucas brings to representing multifamily property owners and investors throughout Los Angeles.
